I took a chance on the knife and am extremely pleased with it. Ive had other switchblades before that open quickly, but not satisfyingly quick. This knife opens ultra quick and is crisp in its motion.The blade is also very sharp. Folding the knife is easy and the locking mechanism is sturdy and reliable. I also found the customer service to be top notch, as they replied quickly to my questions about the knife before I bought it, in addition to the after purchase question I had about folding it. Previous switchblades Ive owned have all used the release button to unlock for folding, this knife uses one of the bolsters to unlock the blade instead, which means I dont worry about accidentally unlocking it if the button gets pushed while in use.
